Located at one end of the plot, our intervention is part of the main natural axis of Puerto Venecia, giving us the opportunity to add another iconic component to the axis. theleisureway found in ”El Manantial” – or water source – the inspirtation to create the source of water that eventually spills into the lake of Puerto Venecia, enveloped by different species of greenery and topographies.

From a global perspective the project is a new concept in the way we understand leisure and shopping. The project concentrated a great effort in order to become a magnetic pole for both the local public and the tourist sector.
The goal was to transform it into an exciting outdoor family area that extends the leisure experience, bringing new ingredients that boost the pedestrian flow and makes the area part of the story and active life.

Final results
The concept, introduced as “El Manantial” lives up to its name and presents a modern and fashionable interpretation of natural elements. The immersive landscape, the diverse nature that is discovered, and water as the protagonist and generator of the space, create a new concept of a leisure garden full of life. This extension consists of several social meeting spots, events spaces, areas where children can freely discover and have fun, and even a large 16-meter-high tower with a waterfall inside, games, slides, and lastly, an impressive viewpoint over the lake.
